Common Questions
What ages is the Summer Camp for?
The camp is open to players of ages 4 - 14. Players are grouped by age to ensure the sessions are appropriate and enjoyable for everyone.
Where does the camp take place?
All sessions are held at Joseph Mafera Park in Ridgewood, Queens. No long commutes — everything is right in your neighborhood.
What time does the camp run?
The Morning camp runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the Evening Camp runs on Tuesday & Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Players should arrive a few minutes early to warm up.
Can my child attend both camps?
Your child can attend any combination of weeks. Simply register for each week separately.
What should my child bring?
Shin guards, cleats or athletic shoes, a water bottle, and sunscreen. Soccer ball is recommended but not required.
What is included in the fee?
Each week includes daily coached sessions, daily competitions, an official camp t-shirt.
Is there a graduation ceremony?
Yes — at the end of each week, players receive their official Ridgewood United Summer Camp diploma. Families are welcome to attend and celebrate with their child.
